Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly situated with a stunning view of the Dome and Ascention Hill, making it easy to explore the Old City and enjoy modern amenities. The rooms are small but adequate, the staff provides exceptional service, and the dining options, while average, are fulfilling for a day of sightseeing. However, the breakfast area might get crowded with tour groups.
Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The rooms were spacious with a brilliant ensuite and had everything needed to recharge after a day of exploring. The service was exceptional, with staff who were helpful, supportive, and spoke excellent English. The location, especially for pilgrims, was ideal being central and close to key sites in Jerusalem. Although the dining experience was not perfect due to limited options, the facilities and unique surroundings made the stay memorable.
I couldn't have asked for a better location for my stay. Being just a couple of blocks inside the Jaffa Gate in the Christian quarter of the city was ideal. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, but being right atop the AC turbines and ducts did lead to some noise. The dining experience, however, left something to be desired as the dishes were not always freshly prepared. Overall, a value for money stay with a few minor drawbacks.
I couldn't have asked for a better spot in the old city; everything seemed just right. The service was exceptional, and the welcoming atmosphere added to the charm. The dining experience could do with a little more variety, but overall, it was a memorable stay.
I couldn't have asked for a better location; sitting right inside the Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem was a dream. The rooms were lovely, with a charming balcony on the top floor. The service was excellent, especially the Greek receptionists who were always friendly and helpful. While the dining was a bit disappointing with no fresh options, the convenience of exploring the Old City right from the hotel made up for it. A great value for a memorable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were functional but urgently needed renovation, lacking attractiveness in their outdated state. The service was generally nice and helpful, but there was an issue with one receptionist who was not attentive. The location, just inside Jaffa Gate, was perfect for exploring both the old and new parts of Jerusalem, although the noise from the main street was minimized due to the side street location. The dining options were average, nothing exceptional, and the facilities were sufficient despite needing some attention.
